About Ashok N.
Before starting A&N Strategy Consulting, Ashok held electronics design (RF, analog, and digital) engineering and engineering management positions (chief engineer R&D and Dir. of engineering) at several electronics companies in the United States. He has over 25 years of comprehensive experience in strategy formulation (strategic or long-range planning), strategy implementation (through portfolio program and project management), and innovation: research and development (R&D), manufacturing, and marketing. Before coming to the US, he worked for one of the world’s famous Indian Institute of Technologies in India as an R&D project engineer for 9 years. Here he assisted the chief investigator (Sr. Professor-head of the research center) in long-range planning, proposal development, capability development, and managing multiple R&D project activities. He holds a professional degree (4 years) in electronics engineering, an MBA degree, and a PMP certification. Ashok is a lifelong learner, and because of his passion and curiosity, he has performed extensive self-directed post-MBA studies (after 2004) in various areas of business including strategic management, technology and innovation, portfolio management, marketing, and corporate finance.
